On IKEA-USA.com/buyback, first complete the Buy Back & Resell form. This form will ask you questions about the condition of the IKEA furniture you would like to sell back. You need an IKEA Family member account number to complete the form. Once you complete the Buy Back & Resell form, you will receive an email with your quote. Please bring a copy of your quote and your fully assembled furniture to your participating IKEA, entering through Returns & Exchanges. Our ambition is for all stores to participate in Buy Back & Resale one day. However, if your store is not included to participate in this service, this may be due to certain local/county/state laws that place restrictions on all businesses. Our US Legal and Public Affairs teams will continue to address the stores where we cannot yet operate, and we will update you as soon as anything officially changes. You will need to fill out the online form and receive a quote in order to sell back your product prior to coming in store for the sell-back. You can only bring your sell-back furniture to a participating IKEA store.
There are times where we cannot buy back your product because we cannot resell it. You may take the product back home with you. Or if you choose not to participate in the Buy Back & Resell program and do not want to return it to your home, IKEA may recycle or dispose of it according to our zero waste-to-landfill policy.
Products that have been recalled are not eligible for Buy Back & Resell, but you may be entitled to a full refund by returning them to your nearest IKEA store. To learn more visit -service/product-support/recalls/
Unfortunately, we will not match third party sites because all products are reviewed based on condition, age and functionality. You do not have to return the product if you are not happy with the price you are offered, either in response to the online form or the in-store quote.
At this time, we do not offer a pick-up service for Buy Back & Resell. We ask that you bring the product back fully assembled so we can properly assess it on-site. We will not be able to accept the product unless it is fully assembled.
You can use the Store Credit for any purchase within any IKEA store or online in the US. Store credit does not expire, so you can save it up to purchase something you love. Unfortunately, we cannot replace the store credit if you lose it so hold it safe.

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase of a disc from Dynamic Discs, Latitude 64, or Westside Discs, bring it back within 14 days and we will replace it with whatever disc you want in the store of any brand.
Being a member of the Buyback Retailer Program will set your store apart from the competition by offering something that no other store offers. It instills repeat customer interaction and a superior level of customer service for your store. It also encourages your staff to engage the customer.
Buyback prices are determined by campus demand for the book next term or national demand via used book wholesalers. When the UCLA Store needs a title for the following term, we attempt to pay a premium for it over wholesale buyback prices and online buyback prices. It is our preference to buy those books back from UCLA Students.
Now you can check the buyback value of a book online with our new Price Inquiry feature. All pricing inquiries are subject to change at any time based upon current demand and/or the condition of the book(s). Since Buyback pricing is based on changing demands, final buyback pricing is always determined at the buyback location.
While the UCLA Store buys back books at any time during the year, the best time to sell your books is the 10th week of the quarter when the store begins buying books for the next term. As the needed quantity is filled, the buyback value decreases.
Wholesale buyback is available all year round: Ackerman Union, Lu Valle Commons and Health Sciences Store. Additional locations are available during Finals Week. There are expanded hours and locations at the end of each quarter, during 10th week and finals.
In almost all cases, when a book is replaced with a new edition, the old edition is no longer eligible for buyback. As this is not always the case, we are happy to check your old editions to see if they are eligible for buyback.
The College Store makes available the largest quantity of used books that can be obtained and these are sold at 75% of the new book price. To make this possible, textbooks are bought back from students during finals week of each semester. All textbooks purchased by cash, check, credit card, financial aid, or sponsorship are eligible for buy back. Course books may be sold back for up to 50% of the current book price.
The College Store buys textbooks during the designated times only. The College Store has partnered with Nebraska Book Company to provide students an option to sell their textbooks in between the buyback dates.
Big brands have started to get in on the action: furniture powerhouse IKEA and Italian fashion label Valentino are among the companies that have launched in-house schemes in the past year. Small businesses, however, don't necessarily have the loyalty, brand recognition or operational capacity to make a buy-back program work right off the bat.
According to an email poll from Vogue Business, not really. The majority of respondents (53%) said they don't donate clothing to brand-run buy-back programs at all. That might be because returning items at the moment is far too arduous a process, says Michael Doughty, co-founder of Hylo. For Michael, the way to prevent that is to improve the user experience of returns and offer a tangible incentive to customers.
Having a physical retail location also makes it much easier to get customers to trade their used items, he says. That way, they don't have to deal with the admin of shipping labels and postage, and they can much more easily try on the new item they want a discount on. For Joanna Dai, who is currently trialing a buy-back initiative at the London store of her workwear brand Dai, it's been a great way to test the concept, which she hopes will develop into a new revenue stream for the brand.
The next step Selling the bag as its own product to retail partners. For Days has now partnered with the likes of lifestyle store Package Free Shop, footwear brand Cariuma and children's clothing brand Maisonette to sell the Take Back Bag on their platforms and, in the process, get the For Days brand name out to new customers, too.
Books must be in resellable condition, and will be evaluated before being bought back. We cannot accept counterfeit copies, or books with: liquid damage (water, coffee, etc.), missing/torn pages, broken binding, significant cover damage beyond normal wear and tear, fire (scorched), chemical spills, or tooth marks (rodent, pets, etc.). Limited highlighting and writing in the book is permitted.
The Campus Store will purchase used books regardless of where the books were originally purchased. Buyback quantities on an individual title may be limited. Bring your books to buyback as soon as possible. Bring all CDs, books, or other package components to buyback. If it was purchased as a package, it must be bought back as a package. Watch for the posted buyback dates. Buyback for the Campus Store is offered at the end of each semester. Wholesale buyback is available at any time at the Textbook Information Desk (lower prices given at wholesale buyback). Some classes may be taught on a periodic basis. If your book is not on the current buyback list, it may be placed on a future buyback list.
Off Campus/Distance Education: If you are unable to return your book(s) in-store, fill out the form at bookrental.usu.edu for a pre-paid shipping label. This form is only active for about 2 weeks before finals week through the last day of finals. If the form is currently unavailable, please check back at a later day. Packages must be postmarked by the last day of finals, after which the prepaid shipping label will expire, and you will be subject to the unreturned fee for each rental book. If you return your book(s) using a carrier of your own choice, you are responsible for paying the shipping charges and for making sure your package is postmarked by the deadline, or you may be subject to unreturned fees. Please allow 24-48 hours for processing from the time your shipment arrives at our facilities.
Payment for unreturned/overdue books: The collateral card provided during check-out will be charged for unreturned/overdue books. If for some reason we cannot charge the collateral card, your student tuition/fee account will be charged. At the end of each semester, a book buyback period is held. During book buyback, students can get up to 50% cash back for textbooks that will be used next term, depending on CVCC Campus Store stock needs.
